At 21:54 on Tuesday, 28 May, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Knapsacks

One field approximately 2 acres in size 50% involved in fire. Crews using beaters and knapsack sprayers and fogging system to extinguish.
