At 04:42 on Monday, 8 July, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Church Aston.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving car and slight spread to property
