At 14:13 on Wednesday, 17 July, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire in Whitchurch.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees, Wem and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

This incident involved one large goods vehicle and one skip.
