At 22:09 on Tuesday, 24 September, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Smell Of Burning in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm caused by fumes from generators following a power cut.
