At 22:04 on Thursday, 17 October, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Longden, Shrewsbury .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

This incident involved one pick up truck damaged by fire. Crews used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish fire.
