At 09:45 on Friday, 18 October, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Much Wenlock .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Much Wenlock.

This incident was a false alarm caused by a smoke bomb testing the flue which leaked into the loft space.
