At 15:23 on Monday, 9 December, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in A5 Preston Island to Cluddley.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington.

Call to a van on fire in a layby, which was found to be a false alarm caused by a blown turbo.
