At 08:25 on Tuesday, 17 December, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Station Road, Stottesden.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer and Wellington.

Report of a horse stuck in soft ground. Horse was sedated by a vet before being assisted to it's feet and guided into a stable by Fire Service personnel using animal rescue equipment.
