At 20:44 on Wednesday, 26 February, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Chemical Incident.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Tweedale. Operations and Specialist Advisor officers were in attendance.

Crews and specialist officers have carried out tests on an unknown substance on roadway. This substance was found to be non-corrosive and of no harm to environment and has since fully dissolved.
