At 17:32 on Saturday, 11 April, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Whitchurch.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Whitchurch.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

This incident involved a ride on lawn mower fully involved in fire. Crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet, 1 breathing apparatus and a high pressure lance.
