At 17:28 on Saturday, 11 April, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Hazardous Substances in Telford.

7 fire appliances including the Environmental Protection Unit, the Incident Command Unit and the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.

This incident involved an ammonia leak which was isolated by the on site specialist. No action taken by Fire Service
