At 21:24 on Tuesday, 14 April, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Newport.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Newport.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Fire involving one private saloon car fully involved in fire. Crews used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish.
