At 18:42 on Monday, 11 May, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in woodland near Benthall, Broseley .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Tweedale.

Fire involving 4 felled trees and approximately 10 square meters of undergrowth in wooded area. 1 hose reel jet used to extinguish fire.
