At 10:40 on Wednesday, 22 July, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved oil in a fryer. Fire was out on the arrival of crews.
