At 22:10 on Wednesday, 22 July, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Crews are investigating reports of a fire in the open. This was a large bonfire containing household waste which has been reduced to a manageable size by Fire Service Personnel using 1 extended hose reel jet. Advice has been given to the owner
