At 19:44 on Monday, 24 August, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Shrewsbury .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Small electrical fire involving electric hob. One hosereel jet, two breathing apparatus in use to extinguish.
