At 12:28 on Monday, 17 May, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Shrewsbury.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Report of lorry leaving the road and leaking fertilizer. Approximately 1 tonne of fertilizer involved. Lorry recovered by recovery firm. Crews made area safe and 1 hose reel jet was used as precautionary measure.
