At 06:45 on Tuesday, 15 June, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Animal Rescue in Shrewsbury .

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

1 Horse stuck in river. The horse has now been led to safety by its owner.
