Cheque Boost for Blood Bikes
Chief Fire Officer, John Redmond, presents a cheque for £335 to the chairman of the Staffordshire and Shropshire Blood Bikes group, Chris Powdrill.
The cheque is part of the proceeds from a raffle staged by Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service at its annual Festival of Carols at St George’s Church, Shrewsbury, in December.

Shropshire firefighters have been helping to rescue Cumbrian residents stranded in their homes from Storm Desmond.
A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service boat crew was sent out from Shrewsbury early yesterday and was out helping people from their homes within hours of their arrival.
