At 16:57 on Monday, 22 January, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire Persons Reported in Bridgnorth.

4 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Short extension ladder
• Thermal imaging camera

Suspected fire in roofspace of building. Crews have carried out thorough inspection. Source believed to be steam from heating system.
