At 07:59 on Thursday, 9 June, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Oswestry.
2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Baschurch and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.
Road traffic collision involving 2 saloon vehicles. Fire crews used Holmatro equipment to release casualty. Small gear also in use. Both casualties were left in the car of ambulance

One male casualty rescued by fire service personnel using two 9 meter Ladders, rope rescue kit and gas monitor. Casualty now in care of land ambulance.

This incident involved one saloon vehicle which had collided with a tree and required making safe. No persons trapped. One casualty transported to hospital by land ambulance.
