At 08:41 on Tuesday, 12 June, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Church Stretton.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Church Stretton, Craven Arms and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Electric Saws/Cutters
• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving 1 car and one LGV. One casualty was released by Fire Service personnel by removing the doors of the car using cutting equipment.
