At 07:51 on Thursday, 4 September, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Smell Of Burning in Ellesmere.
2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry.
Fire alarm activated by large amount of steam and heat caused by leaking hot water pipe. Water isolated by Fire Service Personnel

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Hosereel jet
- Main jet
- Thermal imaging camera
Fire involving 1 wooden out-building which was destroyed by fire. A double garage housing a private car was also involved in the fire.
