At 04:31 on Saturday, 13 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Hodnet .

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Hodnet, Market Drayton and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Cutters/Spreaders

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

1 large good vehicle in collision with tree - 1 person trapped released by fire service using cutting equipment

Incident involving suspected carbon monoxide in property. Crews ventilated the property, checked property with gas monitor, and isolated the fuel supply. Casualties assessed by ambulance service.
