At 12:58 on Saturday, 13 September, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire Commercial in Ludlow.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Craven Arms and Ludlow.

This incident was false alarm good intent. Alarm caused by nearby bonfire smoke entering window vents. No fire service action required.

At 10:12 on Thursday, 11 September, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in LUDLOW.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Wellington.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service , the Police and Shropshire Council.

Property Fire

At 06:29 on Friday, 29 August, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Ludlow.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Craven Arms and Ludlow.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

  • Breathing Apparatus (BA)
  • Covering jet
  • Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire in second storey flat of four storey multi purpose building, 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and 1 covering jet in use. No persons involved in the incident. The gas and electricity supply was affected and has been isolated, crews are now cutting away and carrying out further inspection.
