At 00:58 on Tuesday, 24 March, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Persons Reported Fire in Minsterley.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Minsterley and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Short extension ladder

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Fire involving towels and clothing within a property. One person assisted from property by fire service personnel.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Minsterley, Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Cutters/Spreaders

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

One vehicle RTC with one person trapped. Casualty extricated from vehicle using holmatro equipment.

Chimney fire above a log burner, found to be out upon the arrival of the fire service. Log burner was removed and checks made by Fire Service personnel that fire was fully extinguished using a hearth kit and thermal imaging camera.
