At 15:33 on Friday, 9 February, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Worthen.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Minsterley and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Short extension ladder
• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

1 car and carport involved in fire. 2 hose reel jets, 1 main jet, 2 breathing apparatus used to extinguish fire and positive pressure ventilation used to ventilate building.
