At 18:28 on Thursday, 12 January, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Cressage.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Small fire involving a table lamp. Out on arrival, inspection only, One elderly female treated for smoke inhalation on scene.

At 13:58 on Wednesday, 4 January, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Cressage.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Cutters/Spreaders

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving 2 cars, 2 persons trapped. One further casualty being treated on scene by Ambulance crews. Holmatro in use.

RTC involving 1 vehicle which has left roadway and collided with a disused electricity pole. One male released using holmatro cutting equipment and conveyed to hospital via land Ambulance.
