At 07:51 on Saturday, 28 February, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Cressage.

3 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)

Chimney fire involving wood burning stove, crews in attendance have requested the attendance of the Aerial Ladder Platform (ALP) for access to the top of the chimney

Crews called to reports of an electricity pylon on fire. This was out on arrival, caused by a fault, inspection only, western power also in attendance as a small amount of properties in the area were without power.
