Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Knapsacks

One field approximately 2 acres in size 50% involved in fire. Crews using beaters and knapsack sprayers and fogging system to extinguish.

At 08:43 on Sunday, 12 May, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Oswestry .

4 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Oswestry and Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

This incident involved a chimney fire. Two appliances from Oswestry along with the Aerial Ladder Platform and one appliance from Shrewsbury were mobilised to the incident. Crews using chimney rods, small gear, three thermal imaging cameras and two hosereel jets to extinguish the fire. Police also in attendance to assist with road closure.
