At 14:44 on Sunday, 8 October, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Llanymynech.

2 fire appliances including the Pinzgauer were mobilised from Oswestry. A Fire Investigation officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Cooker fire in domestic residential property with some smoke damage on the ground floor. PPV fan in use to clear smoke logging.

RTC involving 1 commercial vehicle overturned in ditch, 1 large trailer detached from vehicle and overturned on carriageway, trailer contains approx 4 cows, no persons trapped.
