2 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of fire in the open. Fire involved 2 separate seats of fire. Primary fire measured 60 x 10 metres of hedgerow and verge. Secondary fire measuring 30 by 10 metres of hedgerow and verge. Fire crews used 2 hose reel jets and thermal image camera.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Ellesmere, Oswestry and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Cutters/Spreaders
• Small gear
• Winches

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving 3 vehicles with 2 persons trapped. Casualties have been released from vehicles and left in care of ambulance crews
