At 04:49 on Thursday, 18 December, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire Commercial in Shifnal.

6 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit and the Light Pumping Unit were mobilised from Albrighton, Telford, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations, Fire Investigation and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

This incident is a building fire, crews used 6 breathing apparatus, 2 main jets and 1 hosereel jet. Crews are still working hard on scene to dampen down the areas.
