At 23:40 on Thursday, 14 September, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Willowfield , Woodside, Telford .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Small fire in ground floor bedroom of dwelling house. 1 hose reel jet, 2 breathing apparatus and 1 covering main jet used to extinguish fire.

Road traffic collision involving one saloon car and one refuse lorry. Small leak from radiator of saloon car, which was made safe by firefighters using small gear.

Approximately 5 square metres of grass and undergrowth alight, crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish, a member of the public also used buckets of water prior to arrival of the fire service. This fire was deliberate ignition
