This incident was a false alarm caused by a controlled burn in a garden.

At 12:36 on Saturday, 18 June, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford Town Centre.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Main jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Fire involving 3 cars on 3rd floor of multi-storey car park 4 Breathing Apparatus 1 Main Jet used to extinguish. Fire investigation is currently being carried out.
