At 18:02 on Monday, 22 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

1 vehicle on fire which was tackled by crews using 1 hosereel jet and breathing apparatus. Police in attendance for traffic management. No persons trapped. Thermal imaging camera used to check temperature of car prior to Police arranging recovery.

4 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit and the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Fire involved extractor fan and unit. Fire crews used 2 hose reel jet and 6 breathing apparatus in use. Drone was also launched.
