3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

• Line rescue
• Short extension ladder

Dog rescued which has fallen approx. 25 feet down into a disused lime kiln, using line safety and a short extension ladder

• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire involving kitchen of terraced property, 1 Person taken to hospital by Ambulance suffering from smoke inhalation. 2 other persons being given first aid by Ambulance.
