At 10:45 on Friday, 11 September, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Combine Harvester Fire in Near Longdon on Tern.

2 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera
