At 16:21 on Wednesday, 2 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Fire in first floor bedroom of two storey residential building. All persons accounted for and crews have extinguished the fire using two hosereel jets and one covering jet whilst wearing breathing apparatus. The property has been ventilated using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

• Hosereel jet
• Short extension ladder
• Triple/Short extension ladder

Fire involving conveyor belt. Two breathing apparatus, two hosereel jets and one short extension ladder in use.

Plastic comb fallen into electric radiator causing small fire. Electrics have been isolated and thermal imaging camera used to check for any hot spots.
