At 12:17 on Saturday, 7 February, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Thatched Property in Shrewsbury.
4 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Covering jet
- Hosereel jet
- Thermal imaging camera
Fire involving a log burner which had spread to a thatched roof
