At 01:33 on Monday, 21 February, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in LLanymynech.

Fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit was mobilised. An Operations officer was in attendance.

this incident was over the border support for Mid and West Wales FRS - Crews assisted 4 casualty's from 2 vehicles trapped in flood water
