At 18:28 on Saturday, 18 June, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shifnal.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Albrighton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Knapsacks
• Small gear

Reports of a fire in woodland. Found to be a controlled burn. Knapsack and small tools in use and advice given to responsible person on scene.
