One tree fallen down onto power line. Crews monitored cable until arcing had stopped. Police and national grid informed and requested to attend.

Fuel Leak/Spillage Small

At 23:55 on Saturday, 7 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Fuel Leak/Spillage Small in Albrighton .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Albrighton.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

• Environment agency equipment

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Environment Agency and the Highways Agency.

Large tree fallen onto Kerosene tank which had split the tank causing approx 1000 liters of fuel to spill onto the roads and into the drains. Crews used environmental grab pack to block drains and absorbent pads to soak up remaining liquid. Tank is no longer leaking and highways and environment agency have been requested to attend.

Road traffic collision involving 1 vehicle. No Fire Service action required.
