At 20:21 on Friday, 24 November, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

One person assisted down from bridge.
