At 17:08 on Monday, 26 February, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Telford.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm. No persons in river.
