At 19:04 on Wednesday, 5 March, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Shifnal.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Albrighton. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Crews rescued one cat which had been stuck approximately 60ft up a tree for three days.
