At 08:10 on Sunday, 24 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Albrighton.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a vet.

1 horse rescued from mud by Fire Service personnel using strops and lifting equipment on Rescue Tender.
