At 13:45 on Monday, 15 December, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Craven Arms.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Clun, Craven Arms, Shrewsbury and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Crews rescued person from the embankment of the river, crews used life jackets and throw lines.
