At 20:37 on Friday, 2 January, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Newport.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

One vehicle which had rolled onto roof has been righted back onto four wheels and made electrically safe by crews using a winch and small gear.
