At 19:36 on Thursday, 27 November, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Crews attended an RTC involving two hatchback vehicles. There were no persons trapped on arrival. One vehicle had come to rest on its roof; this was righted using a Tirfor winch. Both vehicles were made safe by Fire Service personnel using small tools. No further assistance was required.

Never drink and drive - book a taxi or stay the night. It's illegal to use a mobile phone while driving and you could be fined and get points on your licence if you break this law. Take regular breaks whilst driving so you don't become over tired. The tragedy of fatigue is that you may drift in and out of sleep without knowing it.

At 17:20 on Thursday, 30 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Telford.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

RTC involving two vehicles. All persons had self extricated prior to the arrival of the fire service. Crews have moved the vehicles from the carriageway using a winch and made them electrically safe using small gear.

At 16:01 on Saturday, 7 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Wem.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Prees, Wellington and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

Tree fallen onto car with two people trapped within the vehicle. Electrical cables were also affected during this incident. Crews used a battery saw and small gear to release casualties. Crews also used a turfor to move the vehicle away from tree. Area made safe until Scottish Power can attend.
